Quick Overview
AppLander helps mobile app developers create landing pages, legal documents, and support pages. We offer Free, Pro ($7/mo), and Studio ($19/mo) plans. Generated legal documents are templates, not legal advice. These Terms are governed by German law. By using AppLander, you agree to these Terms.
Welcome to AppLander. These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and buzzjective GmbH, a company incorporated under the laws of Germany ("AppLander," "we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the AppLander platform located at applander.io.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
1. Description of Service
AppLander is a web-based SaaS platform designed to help mobile application developers and publishers create professional web presences for their apps. The Service enables you to:
- Create and manage app landing pages with customizable templates
- Generate legal document templates (privacy policies, terms of service, EULAs)
- Build and maintain support pages and help centers
- Publish changelogs and release notes
- Create and monitor status pages
- Manage multiple applications from a single account
Important: Legal document templates generated through the Service are starting-point templates only and do not constitute legal advice. See Section 5 for important limitations.

5. Generated Legal Documents Disclaimer
CRITICAL LIMITATIONS
This section contains critical limitations regarding the legal document generation features. Generated Legal Documents are templates only and are provided for informational and educational purposes.
Not Legal Advice — Generated documents do not constitute legal advice, legal opinions, or recommendations. AppLander is a technology company, not a law firm. No attorney-client, fiduciary, or professional advisory relationship is created.
No Guarantee of Compliance — AppLander makes no warranties that any generated document is accurate, complete, legally sufficient, or compliant with any jurisdiction's laws. Laws vary, change frequently, and may be interpreted differently across jurisdictions.
Your Sole Responsibility — You are solely responsible for reviewing, customizing, and ensuring legal adequacy before publishing any generated document. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.
No Liability — To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppLander shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, penalties, fines, legal fees, or liabilities arising from your use of or reliance on any generated document. This includes claims from end users, customers, regulators, or any third party.
Changing Legal Landscape — Laws change without notice. AppLander has no obligation to update previously generated documents. You are responsible for monitoring legal developments and updating your documents accordingly.

AppLander reserves the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting to law enforcement.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of Terms, harmful conduct, fraudulent or illegal activities, or prolonged inactivity. We will provide at least 7 days' advance notice where practicable, except when immediate action is necessary.
Effect of Termination
All licenses and rights cease immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to allow data export before permanent deletion. Sections that should survive termination (IP provisions, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification, governing law) shall survive.
8. Service Availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the Service is available at all times. However, no online service can guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
Scheduled maintenance
Software updates
Emergency maintenance
Server failures
Network issues
Force majeure events
We will endeavor to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance and schedule it during low-usage periods. Emergency patches may be applied without advance notice.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
AppLander expressly disclaims all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. No advice or information obtained from AppLander shall create any warranty not stated in these Terms.
Note: Some jurisdictions (including the EU) do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In such jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
No Indirect Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppLander shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.
Liability Cap
Total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50.00 USD.
Generated Documents — Zero Liability
AppLander shall have no liability whatsoever for any claims arising from generated legal documents, including claims of inaccuracy, inadequacy, or non-compliance. This applies regardless of whether claims are brought by you, end users, regulators, or any third party.
Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death/personal injury from negligence, fraud, or any other non-excludable liability under mandatory law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AppLander from any claims, damages, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service or activity under your account

- Your violation of any law or third-party right
- Your use of any Generated Legal Document, including third-party claims of inadequacy or non-compliance
- Any dispute between you and a third party arising from the Service
EU consumers: This indemnification applies only to claims arising from your willful misconduct, negligence, or breach of Terms — not from normal use of the Service.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of laws provisions.
Jurisdiction
Legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Berlin, Germany.

- Update the "Last Updated" date
- Send email notification at least 30 days before changes take effect
